The Acadiana Cane Cutters swept the Victoria Generals in a two-game series at Fabacher Field after a 9-3 win Saturday night at Fabacher Field.
The Cane Cutters batting was steady all night, scoring at least one run in all but two innings
Acadiana went through four pitchers on the night, and didn't allow a single run after the second inning.
Kyle Mendenhall led the team in runs with three while Ian Goff tallied the most hits with three on five at bats.
The Cane Cutters will resume play tomorrow night against the Texas Marshals. The team will return home next Thursday to take on the Marshals in a two-game series.
