The Acadiana Cane Cutters hit two homeruns and got another night of stellar pitching to top the Woodlands Strykers, 10-2 on Friday night.
It was a tight 2-1 Acadiana lead until the sixth inning when the Cutters took advantage of an error and scored four times to build their lead up to 6-1.
Hunter Speer from Nichols State tossed 6 1/3 no hit innings to get the win tonight.
Dylan Hardy from South Alabama and Jaylon Keys from Meridian Community College both homered to put the game away.
The Cane Cutters will back in action tomorrow night as they take on the three-time defending champs in the Brazos Valley Bombers for a two-game set. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
