Toronto, ON - Following today's 3-1 win in the Forge FC vs York United FC playoff match, Forge FC has secured a spot in the 2021 Canadian Premier League Final against yesterday's playoff winner Pacific FC.
The 2021 Canadian Premier League Final is confirmed Forge FC vs Pacific FC and will be on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at 4:30pm ET at Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton, ON
"Congratulations to all four CPL teams for delivering a weekend of exciting playoff matches," said David Clanachan, Commissioner Canadian Premier League. "We look forward to what I have no doubt will be an entertaining and quality Canadian soccer matchup between Forge and Pacific on December 5."
Hosting rights for all games are determined by virtue of who finished as the higher seed. If a match finishes in a draw after regulation time, it will move to two 15-minute extra-time periods. If a match is still tied after extra time, the matches will be decided on penalty kicks.
