March 28, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
California Terminators News Release
Indianapolis, IN. Joe Newman, ABA CEO, today announced that the California Terminators have been added to the growing list of ABA professional basketball teams that will begin play in November. According to Newman, "The Terminators will play in the West Los Angeles County and East Ventury County market. The area includes the cities of Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Agoura Hills, Westlake Village, Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Newbury Park and Moorpark and has a population base of about 450,000. The area is known for its exceptional schools and strong emphasis on family entertainment with high school and youth sports being especially popular. We think it is a perfect area for the ABA with its exciting brand of fan-friendly, family-friendly and affordable professional basketball, and it certainly adds beautifully to our divisional play. A great addition."
