Calgary United Announces 2011 20-Man Roster

Coach Troye Flannery has announced a 20 man squad for the upcoming CMISL season. The squad includes just 9 returning players from the 2010 season, including stand out goalie Marcel Galaszkiewicz, midfield dynamo Nic Reyes, and prolific forward Felix Napuri. Two other players have represented Calgary in previous seasons, fan favourite Dean Northover and ex Calgary Storm defender Konrad Paszkowski. 10 players will be pulling on the red and gold of United for the first time however.
"I'm looking forward to seeing these guys play", said coach Flannery, "I think we are going to be faster this year!"
The United won the CMISL title for the first time last year and will begin their title defense on December 31 against the Edmonton Drillers.
