By the Numbers: Soul Fall to Empire in Regular Season Finale

PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Philadelphia Soul (7-5) fell to the Albany Empire (8-4) 71-57 in the regular season finale in front of 10,082 fans at the Times Union Center. The Soul seemed to keep up early on, however, the Empire took the lead in the second quarter which they maintained throughout the game. The See Box Score below:

Soul veteran QB Dan Raudabaugh recorded 23 completions on 33 attempts for 304 yards, 1 interception and 7 touchdowns in his second game back post-injury. Raudabaugh has totaled 145 completions on 209 attempts for 1,728 yards, 6 interceptions and 36 touchdowns this season.

There were four receivers who found the end zone for the Soul against the Empire. WR Darius Prince led with 4 touchdowns and totaled 7 receptions for 82 yards. Prince finished the regular season second in the league in receiving yards (1076) and third in touchdowns (24). WR Darius "Money" Reynolds led the group in receiving yards with 139 on 9 catches with 1 touchdown. Wide Receivers Aaron Wascha and Lonnie Outlaw each contributed a touchdown of their own.

As for defense, DB James Romain was fired up throughout the game and totaled 4.5 total tackles, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble return and 2 pass breakups. DB LaRico Stevenson recorded 4 total tackles, and on special teams, he had 6 kick returns for 108 total yards. Both DL Jake Metz and LB Joe Goosby had 4 total tackles and Metz also recorded 1 pass breakup.
