Brendan Burns kept the Kokomo Jackrabbits (15-14) off the board during his six innings of work and the Chillicothe Paints (13-15) beat the Kokomo Jackrabbits, 6-2.
Burns struck out two and allowed one walk and five hits. Jesse Forestell was hot from the plate for the Chillicothe Paints.
Forestell went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the third, fifth, and seventh innings. Chris Amato was hot from the plate for the Kokomo Jackrabbits. Amato went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the second, seventh, and ninth innings. Nick Floyd ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
