Broncos Add Final Exhibition Tune-Up for the 2010 Season

May 22ND, 2010-Laredo, TX- The Laredo Broncos of the United League announce today they will host their third and final exhibition game of the 2010 season at Veterans Field. The date is set for Tuesday, May 25th, with first pitch at 7:35 PM against the Laredo Wooden Bat Adult League, admission is free.
"This is a great opportunity for the fans of the Laredo Broncos to come out and see the team we have assembled for the 2010 season," says Broncos General Manager Jose Melendez. "And not only do you get to watch the Broncos, but you get to see them go up against some of the best talent that Laredo has. It should be a good final test before the season begins."
This final exhibition game comes just one day after the Laredo Broncos will host the Laredo Adult Baseball All-Stars and is the second straight year the Broncos have hosted both teams on back to back nights at Veterans Field. In 2009 the Broncos came away with a sweep of both the Laredo Adult Baseball All-Stars and the Laredo Wooden Bat Adult League.
The Broncos will take on a team of Laredo's top baseball products from the Laredo Wooden Bat Adult League. Jose Luis Maldonado the President of the Laredo Wooden Bat League is thrilled his squad and the Laredo Broncos were able to play another exhibition game in 2010 after a successful 2009 showing. "I'm happy that the Adult Wooden Bat team can take on one of the best professional teams around in the Laredo Broncos. It is a chance for the fans to see our talent and the 2010 Broncos."
The exhibition game will start at 7:35 PM at Veterans Field and is sponsored by the City of Laredo Parks & Leisure Services. Admission will once again be free and the concession stands will be open. This is a great opportunity for the City of Laredo to come out and get a taste of what's in store for the 2010 United League season.
The Laredo Broncos begin their 5th season in 2010. The Broncos will play a 93 game season from late May to the end of August with 45 home games scheduled for Veterans Field.
