Boston, MA - The Boston Pride have signed their practice players for the 2016-17 season, General Manager Hayley Moore announced Tuesday. Kathryn Tomaselli (F), Lindsay Berman (F/D), Maggie Taverna (D), Marissa Gedman (D), Michaela Levine (F), and Natalie Robinson (G) have agreed to practice player contracts.

"We are very lucky to be adding an incredibly talented and well-rounded group of practice players to our Boston core," said Moore. "These players add different areas of experience and skills to our team, and will be truly instrumental to our success this season."

Gedman and Berman return to the NWHL after playing in the inaugural season. Gedman collected 6 assists in 18 regular season games with the Pride, as well as two assists in the Isobel Cup Playoffs. Berman notched one assist in three regular season games with the Connecticut Whale.

Levine finished her senior season at Williams this year as her team's leading scorer with 55 points (30g, 25a) in 96 games. Tomaselli, another 2016 graduate, led her team with 50 points (31g, 19a) in 135 games with Union College.

Taverna was a defenseman for Boston College from 2005-2009, where she scored 67 points (15g, 52a) in 141 games. Goaltender Robinson, an Ontario native, played at the University of Maine from 2012-2016.

Restricted free agency began on April 1 and lasted until April 30. Free agency began May 1 and ended July 31. The 2016 NWHL Draft was on June 18.
