
Bombers Host Rival Sound-Off Round 2

Salina, KS. - In preparation for the second game of the season, the Salina Bombers are gearing up for "Rivals Sound-Off: Round 2". The contest features area rival schools that compete during the game in efforts to make the most noise. This week the contest features Kansas Wesleyan University in competition with Bethany College.
The game one sound-off pitted Salina Central against Salina South, with the Mustangs capturing victory and moving on to the second round. The weekly winner receives a trophy and of course bragging rights over their rival. The Salina Bombers will make a donation to the overall winner's football program.
March 16th: Salina South vs. Salina Central WINNER: Salina Central
March 30th: Kansas Wesleyan vs. Bethany College
April 6th: Sacred Heart vs. Southeast of Saline
April 12th: Ell-Saline vs. Bennington
May 18th: Salina Central vs. March 30th Winner
May 25th: April 6th Winner vs. April 12th Winner
The two schools that qualify for the finals will have their final contest on the Salina Bombers facebook page as they compete for a donation to their football program.
Good seats are available for the game this Saturday as the Bombers host the Mid-Missouri Outlaws at 7:05 pm. It is recommended fans get their tickets early as the first Bombers game sold-out.
