4/7/11 - The Anaheim Bolts Professional Indoor Soccer Club today announced the appointment of Alex Monnar, a 12 year industry veteran, as their Executive Managing Director. The appointment was made by Bernie Lilavois, Managing Partner for the Bolts. Monnar will be responsible for the overall management of the franchise and its staff.

"Alex is highly respected in the indoor soccer world," Lilavois said. "We are excited to have him on board and we feel he's the perfect fit for our organization. He has the right balance of soccer knowledge, business acumen and everyone I spoke to about Alex commented not just on his qualifications but on who he is as a person. We are convinced that he has the leadership qualities and the experience in developing a soccer culture that is crucial to bringing our team to the level everybody here in Anaheim and Southern California expects -- to help me make the Anaheim Bolts a winning franchise."

Monnar becomes the first Executive Managing Director for the Bolts after spending the past three seasons as V.P. of Operations for the San Diego Sockers.

"I am both humbled and excited to be a part of this new indoor soccer organization in Anaheim," Monnar said.
