New York Rangers superstar Artemi Panarin will be in the stands at Herb Brooks Arena when the NWHL's season takes place in Lake Placid. So will Chris Kreider, Mika Zibanejad, Kaapo Kakko, Adam Fox, Jacob Trouba, Igor Shesterkin, Pavel Buchnevich and the rest of the Rangers.
In a display of support for the Metropolitan Riveters and Connecticut Whale of the NWHL, the New York Rangers have arranged to have 25 "Fan Faces" featuring every member of their roster when the Whale and Riveters compete in the upcoming "bubble" NWHL season in Lake Placid.
"This is an extraordinary gesture by the New York Rangers," added Riveters veteran forward Rebecca Russo.
"As an organization, one of the Rangers goals every year is to continue to grow the game of hockey at every level and for everyone," said David Hopkinson, EVP Business Operations, MSG Sports. "Any time we have a chance to make that happen, whether it is through creating access, opportunities or generating exposure for this great game, we want to be involved."
