
Blast defeat Knights to remain unbeaten

Battle Creek, MI The Holland Blast continue to be one of the big early surprises of the 2008 IBL season. The Blast had their best offensive performance of the season, and defeated Battle Creek 150135 in front of 1,300 fans at Kellogg Arena.
Five Blast players eclipsed the 20 point mark, led by 26 each from Dennis Springs and Jared Bledsoe. Springs also dished out a gamehigh 12 assists in the win. Jamal Ward had his best outing of the season, leading the Knights with a gamehigh 31 points. Newcomer Ryan Edwards added 21 points in his first action of the season for Battle Creek.
