Big Sky Thunder Announces Dance Team Coordinator

The Big Sky Thunder is proud to announce their new dance team coordinator Heather Cochrane. Heather spent her childhood in Redmond, WA where she was trained in all forms of dance at the Redmond School of Dance and the Highland Dance Academy. While attending Eastlake High School, she was a member and Lieutenant of the Eastlake Dance/Drill Team. She also intensely studied classical ballet and modern dance at the Seattle's Cornish College of the Arts.

Heather obtained her B.A. in Political Science as well as a degree in dance from Montana State University. Heather danced with the MSU CatDancers and was a member of the MSU Reparatory Dance Department. During this time she choreographed and danced in a variety of routines. Furthermore, she has attended workshops in Los Angeles, New York and Seattle dancing with the Radio City Rockettes, Bob Rizzo, and Ann Reinking. Since graduating from MSU, she has been coaching the Belgrade High School Cheerleading Team, teaching dance, filling odd-jobs and working at Phillips Environment Products.

The Big Sky Thunder will be holding their Dance Team try-out on February 18th, 2006 @ The Ridge Athletic Club, registration starts @ 8:00am. For more information please check our website @ bigskythunder.net or call 406-570-1136.
