Beez\' Nembhard earns his third CBA Player of the Week Award

The Continental Basketball Association announced today that the Fargo-Moorhead Beez' guard, Ruben Nembhard, earned National Conference Player of the Week for March 19th through the 24th.
Nembhard, whose three Player of the Week awards trails only Rockford's Jeff Sanders and Dakota's Miles Simon (4) for the most this season, posted 22.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 2.3 steals in four games (3-1) including two victories over the regular season National Conference champion Dakota Wizards. In a 112-100 win over the Saskatchewan Hawks on March 22, the Weber State (Utah, '96) alum came up two rebounds shy of his second triple double this season, tallying 28 points and 10 assists to go along with his 8 rebounds.
The FM Beez have received a National Conference high six, Player of the Week Awards this season, with four different players garnering the honor. Ruben Nembhard has been named CBA Player of the Week three times, while Billie Keys, Jermaine Walker, and Rico Hill each have won the Award once.

The CBA's National conference playoffs start tomorrow, March 26th at the Fargo Dome with the FM Beez versus the Dakota Wizards. It will be a best of five playoff series, with a 1-3-1 format. The Dakota Wizards hold the home court advantage. The Beez ended the regular season series 5-3 against the Wizards. The Beez had a 3-1 home record and a more impressive 2-2 record in Bismarck, where the Wizards only lost three games all season.
The FargoDome doors will open at 6:05 p.m. with the game tip-off at 7:05. Tickets can be purchased at the door, or you can get them at any Ticketmaster location.
