
Bees Sign Center Adam Stuart

Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees News Release
The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees, proud affiliates of the of the Florida Panthers and San Antonio Rampage, announced the signing of centerman Adam Stuart (6'1, 175) for the 2011-12 season. Stuart joins the Bees after spending last season at York University.
Stuart is a classic puck moving, assist generating center. Last season Stuart led York University in scoring as a freshmen registering nine goals and 13 assists in just 27 games. Completing his junior career with Calgary of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) in 2009-10 Stuart registered eight goals and 27 assists for 35 points.
"Adam has exactly what I am looking for from my centers. He has size at 6'1, he can obviously score after leading York in scoring, and he can move the puck and direct play very effectively," said Killer Bees General Manager and Head Coach Terry Ruskowski. "Adam is ready for the pro game and I think will have a very successful season.
The Killer Bees ninth season of play opens October 21st at the State Farm Arena when the Bees host the Missouri Mavericks. Full and season tickets are available by callings 956-843-7825 and single game seats are available at any State Farm Arena Ticket Outlet.
