
Bandits, Spanger Agree to Two-Year Deal

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Buffalo Bandits today announced the team has signed defenseman Matt Spanger to a two-year contract, pending league approval.
Spanger (6'4", 207 lbs., 11/27/1992) has spent the last two seasons in Buffalo, playing 11 games in both of those campaigns. Last season, Spanger set career highs in assists (7), points (8) and loose ball recoveries (61). He also established a new career best with 16 caused turnovers, which tied for eighth in the NLL.
A native of Toronto, Ontario, Spanger has totaled 21 points (4+17) in 39 games during his four-year NLL career for the Bandits and New England Black Wolves. He has also added three points (2+1) and 15 loose ball recoveries in five career playoff contests.
