Bandits Sign Five to One-Year Contracts

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Buffalo Bandits today announced the team has signed forwards Tye Argent and Carson Rees and transition players Hunter Aggus, Brent Noseworthy and Carter Stefaniak to one-year contracts, pending league approval

Noseworthy (6'4", 220 lbs., 2/6/1996) was selected by the Bandits in the first round (12th overall) of the 2019 NLL Entry Draft and recorded three points (1+2) in seven games during his rookie season in 2019-20. Before turning pro, Noseworthy played collegiately at the University of Michigan, where he played four seasons and recorded 119 points (102+17). The two-time team captain left Michigan's program as the Wolverines' all-time leading goal scorer. His 2018 campaign saw him score a program-record 41 goals and 48 points, earning him First-Team All-Big Ten honors that year.

Stefaniak (5'11", 176 lbs., 6/15/1998), a native of Lancaster, New York, was Buffalo's sixth-round pick (89th overall) in the 2020 NLL Entry Draft. The transition player finished his collegiate career with 95 points (75+20) in 52 NCAA games for Canisius College, earning All-MAAC honors in 2018 and 2019.

A native of Hamilton, Ontario, Aggus (6'2", 210 lbs., 1/11/2000) played seven games for the Six Nations Arrows of the OJALL in 2021. He has also played two seasons for the Paris RiverWolves of the Arena Lacrosse League, totaling 19 points (11+8) in 23 contests in 2019 and 2020. Aggus was taken in the sixth round (86th overall) of the 2021 NLL Entry Draft.

Argent (6'0", 170 lbs., 6/19/1999) posted nine points (5+4) in seven OJALL games with the Burlington Chiefs in 2019 before recording 29 points (14+15) in 11 games with the Six Nations Snipers of the Arena Lacrosse League in 2020. The Hamilton, Ontario native was selected by the Bandits in the fifth round (73rd overall) of the 2020 NLL Entry Draft.

The Bandits selected Rees (5'11", 175 lbs., 11/24/1998) in the fourth round (57th overall) of the 2021 NLL Entry Draft. Rees tallied team-highs in goals (41), assists (25), and points (66) in 12 games for Chestnut Hill College last season. The Port Coquitlam, British Columbia native ranked eighth in Division II with an average of 3.42 points per game.
