Bandits Advance to NLL Semifinals with Win over Swarm

Buffalo will visit Toronto this Friday, May 3 for Game 1 of the best-of-three series.
The Buffalo Bandits will play the Toronto Rock in a best-of-three semifinal series beginning Friday, May 3 at FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton, Ontario.
The Bandits advanced to the semifinals with a 10-9 overtime win over the Georgia Swarm in their single-elimination quarterfinal game at KeyBank Center on Saturday. Josh Byrne scored the game-winning goal 4:01 into the extra quarter to secure the victory.
Banditland will host Game 2 of the series on Sunday, May 5 at 5 p.m. Tickets will go on sale for the general public at 11 a.m. on Sunday, April 21.
The full series schedule is as follows:
Game 1 at Toronto - Friday, May 3 at 7:30 p.m.
Game 2 at KeyBank Center - Sunday, May 5 at 5 p.m.

The Bandits and Rock are meeting in the semifinals of the NLL Playoffs for the third consecutive season. The Bandits swept each of the previous two series in two games.
Buffalo also swept its regular-season series with Toronto, which finished as the top seed in the league's unified standings. The Bandits defeated the Rock 16-14 in Hamilton on Jan. 27, then won by the same score in Buffalo on March 16. Josh Byrne had a combined 14 points in the two games.
The Bandits are seeking to repeat as NLL champions and win their sixth title in franchise history.
