
Baltimore's Omarr Smith Named Marcum-Moss Head Coach of the Year

LAS VEGAS - The Arena Football League has announced that Baltimore Brigade head coach Omarr Smith has been named 2018 Marcum-Moss Head Coach of the Year. Smith becomes the second coach to be awarded the Head Coach and Assistant Coach of the Year during his career joining AFL Hall of Fame coach Danny White.
Smith is in his second season coaching the Brigade. Under his direction, Baltimore improved from 4-10 in their inaugural season to 7-5 in 2018. In guiding the Brigade to ArenaBowl XXXI, Smith is looking for his eighth ArenaBowl title in his storied Hall of Fame career. He has four championships as a player (2002, 2003, 2004, and 2007) and three as an assistant coach (2012, 2013, and 2015).
