Aztex announce move to House Park in downtown for 2010 season

Austin Aztex News Release
AUSTIN - After a year in one Austin Independent School District (AISD) facility-Nelson Field at Reagan High School-the Austin Aztex announced the club will play the 2010 season at House Park in downtown Austin, located near Lamar and 15th street.
According to team owner and President Phil Rawlins, when the organization signed the multi-year deal with AISD, the first choice was always House Park. Unfortunately, several factors prevented it from happening in 2009. Rawlins said outside of a soccer-specific stadium, this is the best place for professional soccer in Austin.
"We wanted to play in House Park from the beginning because it's located right in the heart of downtown and it's a great stadium for the fans. Our fans will be very close to the action and it should create a tremendous environment and a great home-field advantage for our team."
Head Coach Adrian Heath agreed.
"This will be a great venue for us in 2010. You've got a great view of the beautiful skyline from the stands and it's very close quarters. The fans are right on top of the players. I expect our fans to be loud at House Park and really give our players a boost."
The move to House Park is also accompanied by a change in the ticketing system and prices for the 2010 season. There will be general admission seating and tickets will cost $15 for adults and $12 for children (5-12 years; children under 5 are free).
