
Attendance continues to soar

NEW YORK â Attendance for the sixth week of the 2005 AFL season averaged 13,917, making it the AFL's third-highest weekend of all time and the highest Week 6 ever. The 2005 season has produced three of the top five all-time average attendance weeks.
The 13,917 average was up 16 percent vs. the 2004 season average (12,024). The 2005 six-week cumulative average of 12,996 is up eight percent vs. 2004' s season average and up three percent vs. 2004's year-to-date average (12,640).
The Georgia Force set a new attendance record for the third consecutive game with a crowd of 14,104 at Philips Arena.
