Atlanta Beat Announces 2011 Preseason Schedule

February 14, 2011 - Women's Professional Soccer (WPS)
Atlanta Beat News Release

KENNESAW, GA (February 14, 2011) - With preseason training camp opening less than one month away, WPS teams submitted their preseason schedules this past week to the league office.

The first game of preseason kicks off when the Atlanta Beat takes on South Florida on Sunday, March 6 at KSU Soccer Stadium in a closed door scrimmage. The game is just the first of numerous preseason match-ups between WPS teams and top college programs in the East and Southeast. Unlike the first two league seasons, when WPS teams lined up other WPS squads for preseason games, the league's six clubs have passed up the opportunity to play each other in favor of match-ups with colleges.

Not all games will be open to the public. All games, times and venues are subject to change.
