Arizona's Kevin Baker Named Oakley CHL Player of the Week

GLENDALE, AZ (March 11, 2013) -The Central Hockey League announced today that Arizona Sundogs forward Kevin Baker has been named the Oakley Central Hockey League Player of the Week for the period ending March 10, 2013.

Baker was signed by the Sundogs prior to their first of four road game on the week on Tuesday in Tulsa and he made an impression with two goals, two assists and eight shots on net in the Sundogs 7-2 victory. The next night, the veteran proved it was no fluke as he duplicated his stat line with two goals, two assists and eight shots on net in Arizona's 5-0 shutout victory over the Oilers.
The Sundogs then traveled to Fort Worth for games on Friday and Saturday and the Kingston, Ontario native scored a goal in each contest with Saturday's third period strike serving as the game winner in Arizona's 2-1 win over the Brahmas.
Arizona finished the week with a 3-0-1 record and Baker finished with six goals and four assists to go along with a +4 plus/minus rating.
