In the Beginning: Today marks the start of the Arizona Fall League's 13th season with the first three games of the season...Javelinas host Grand Canyon and the Solar Sox open with the Desert Dogs with a 1:05 p.m. first pitch. The Scorpions and Saguaros close the day with a 7:05 p.m. game. Each team will play 38 games and the winners of the two divisions will meet in a one-game championship on November 20th at Scottsdale Stadium.

Hall of Fame: The Arizona Fall League continues its tradition of honoring former player and managers by inducting them into the Hall of Fame. This years inductees are Garrett Anderson (Rafters), Albert Pujols (Scorpions) and Tony Peña (Saguaros). The dates and sites of the ceremonies for each individual will be announced at a later date.

Promo Corner: The Fall League's first promotion of the season will go off tonight at Scottsdale Stadium. The Fall League will give away 100 Babooshkah Dolls through a lucky number drawing for all fans in attendance.
