
ArenaBowl XVII Sold Out

TAMPA â ArenaBowl XVII between the Arizona Rattlers (13-6) and the host Tampa Bay Storm (14-4) at the St. Pete Times Forum is officially sold out, the Arena Football League announced today. This marks the fifth-consecutive season in which the AFL's championship game has sold out.
With a capacity of 20,082, Sunday's crowd will be the largest to witness an ArenaBowl since 1995 when 25,087 fans watched the Storm defeat the Orlando Predators, 48-35, in ArenaBowl IX at the Thunderdome in St. Petersburg.
"There is no better way to culminate our best season ever than with a sold out crowd of more than 20,000 rabid AFL fans at the St. Pete Times Forum," said AFL Commissioner DAVID BAKER. "The fans will see the League's two hottest teams and two legendary coaches in DANNY WHITE and TIM MARCUM.
For fans unable to secure a ticket, the game will be broadcast nationally by NBC beginning at 5 p.m. ET.
