Week 2 was action packed, check out how this week unfolded.
Southwest Kansas Storm: 34 - Iowa Rampage: 18
The Storm took early control of this game, playing a smart game with minimal mistakes and smart play from QB Caden Walters. Early in the game, Rakeem Cato left the game with an injury, and the Rampage could not get anything on their offense to work. The Storm creep back to 1-1 on the season after losing Week 1 to Salina. The Storm will be taking on Wichita on the road this week.
Minnesota Myth: 47 - Philadelphia Soul: 12
After taking a beating in Week 1 vs. the Nashville Kats, Minnesota looked to dish out their own dominance. Coming out hot and never slowing down, the Myth took a 47-12 win in Saturday's matchup at Target Field. Demry Croft showed out in this game, as he looks to build on the season. The Soul are now 0-2 while the Myth are now 1-1. The Soul will look to bounce back at Nashville, and the Myth will be hosting Albany.
West Texas Desert Hawks: 31 - Orlando Predators: 14
The Desert Hawks are looking like a juggernaut in this league. The Predators have a solid offense yet could only manage to score 14 points on West Texas. With a 31-14 win, don't be misled by the box score. This game was close until the final 5 minutes. At half, this game was 6-0, and with only 6 minutes left, the score was 23-6, which is well within reach with these offenses. The Desert Hawks move to 2-0 while the Predators are now 0-2. West Texas will be heading to Washington to face the Wolfpack, while Orlando looks to get its first win in Louisiana.
Albany Firebirds: 51 - Nashville Kats: 41
This game was full of fireworks. With a 51-41 win for the Firebirds, there was action from start to finish. Both quarterbacks put on a show. Jake Medlock for Albany dropped 6 passing touchdowns, 5 of which went to Darius Prince. They were virtually impossible to stop. Nashville's special teams really kept this game close throughout, with two outstanding plays to help put points on the board. Nashville will move to 1-1, while Albany moves to 2-0. The Kats will host the Soul this week, while the Firebirds will head to face the Myth.
Billings Outlaws: 49 - Washington Wolfpack: 12
The Outlaws continued its dominance in Week 2 over the Wolfpack, 49-12. Billings looked like a complete team once again from top to bottom. Harker diced up the defense once again, and the Outlaws destroyed the Wolfpack's offensive line. Jacob Ta'ase again struggled to get things going with constant pressure. Aside from a highlight deep passing touchdown, it was a rough home opener for the Wolfpack. Billings moves to 2-0 on the season, and the Wolfpack move to 0-2. Billings heads to Rapid City in Week 3, while Washington will host West Texas.
