Arena Football League, CSMi Solutions Agree to Partnership

CHICAGO - The Arena Football League (AFL) and CSMi Solutions announced a partnership today that will allow AFL teams to utilize SportsWareOnline technology during the 2015 season. The deal will allow team medical staffs the ability to store and update all player medical files and monitor player injuries on the web-based platform.
"The Arena Football League knows that the quality of our product on the field is dependent upon the health of our players," said AFL Commissioner Scott C. Butera. "That's why I'm so pleased that our athletic trainers now have a resource like SportsWareOnline, which will streamline our injury and treatment tracking and allow us to get players back on the field safely."
SportsWareOnline will enable AFL medical staffs to instantly access and update player information. Athletic trainers will now be able to quickly and easily upload baseline testing, physical results, and physical therapy notes, as well as efficiently monitor the progress of player treatment and injury rehabilitation.
AFL teams will begin using SportsWareOnline during the 2015 season, which kicks off on March 27.
