Antelope Valley Youth Baseball And Softball Set To Invade The Hangar

(LANCASTER, CA) -10 leagues from throughout the Antelope Valley will be holding registration for youth baseball and softball from 10am to 2pm Saturday afternoon at the Hangar. JetHawks staff will be on hand along with representatives from every league to help get the youngsters get ready for another exciting season. KB will also be in attendance to meet the kids as they enter the stadium.
Parents should bring their child's birth certificate along with two proofs of residency. Individual league fees will be due upon registration.

Parkview Little League
Palmdale Pony League
Quartz Hill Little League
El Dorado Little League
Monte Vista Little League
Rosamond Little League
American Indian Little League
Quartz Hill Pony League
Antelope Valley Girls Softball Association (AVGSA)
District 51 Big League Softball
For individuals who are interested in umpiring, the High Desert Pony Umpires Association will be taking application for the 2010 season. Local charity Valley Oasis will also be on hand distributing information about their new "Anti-Bullying" campaign.
The Lancaster JetHawks team store will be open for fans to shop for the latest JetHawks gear. In addition kids can sign up to be a part of the Junior JetHawks Kids club as they enter the stadium.
The 2010 season marks the 15th anniversary of professional baseball in the Antelope Valley, and since its inaugural game in 1996, The Hangar has produced more than 90 Major Leaguers and inducted 25 members into The JetHawks Hall of Fame.
