Another Mudcats moves to the next level as current Mississippi Mudcats Running back/ Defensive back Fred Reid a native of Tampa, FL has Signed a contract to play in the CFL (Canadian Football League) with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Reid has been with the Mudcats since training camp as a Defensive back. "Reid is a speedy back with great hands, moves and vision out of the backfield he can be very hard to get a hand on". (Says Coach Broussard Running back /Linebackers Coach). The Mudcats Organization wish him well and look to cheer him on at the next level.
