Angela Mukul to Sing Anthem at Bolts' Home Opener

ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Anaheim Bolts are proud to announce Orange County native Angela Mukul as the National Anthem Singer for the team's big home opener on Friday, November 2 nd. Mukul has appeared on the CW's "The Next" and has a strong following in the area. She was a business major at Cal State Fullerton, with a focus on entertainment management and a minor in music.

After interning with Atlantic Records and The Cartoon Network, the gifted singer moved to Los Angeles and worked as a server at Buffalo Wild Wings in Hollywood and Sammy's Wood-Fired Pizza in Studio City, a job she still has today.

On the CW's "The Next," where Mukul was one of four contestants from Los Angeles, she was mentored by "The Queen of Latin Pop," Gloria Estefan. Her performance can be viewed online, and a full-length version of the song she performed on the show, "You And I," can be found on iTunes.

"We're extremely excited to announce Angela performing on Opening Night," said Bolts Director of PR and Social Media, Justin Windsor. "Many of our staff went to Cal State Fullerton, and the entire organization was cheering for her when she was on 'The Next.' We could not be more humbled to be bringing a local inspiration home to sing at the Anaheim Convention Center Arena. It will be a fantastic night."

The Bolts' big PASL season opener against expansion franchise Sacramento Surge is on November 2nd at 7 p.m. PT .
