And then there were nine

LAKE CHARLES - Nine teams will compete for the title of IFL Champions for the 2008 season. Though it would first appear that adding Fairbanks to the IFL schedule would add stress to the travel budget for the Louisiana Swashbucklers, the additional Alaskan franchise gives the Swashbucklers two games in six days with a built-in fishing trip to boot!
As the Alaskan teams have agreed to once again subsidize airfare expenses for each team in the IFL, out-of-pocket travel will be in line with bus travel to the Texas teams for the Louisiana Swashbucklers.
Additional information for the upcoming season will be made available soon at www.labucs.com. Killer Websites, the official website provider for the Swashbucklers is currently designing an all new look for fans who want to keep on top of the latest team news and league developments.
Season tickets are now on sale. Call 310-PASS (7277) for more information.
