Anaheim Bolts News Release
ANAHEIM, CALIF., Oct. 20- Bernie Lilavois, head coach and managing partner, and the Anaheim Bolts announced that they guarantee the playoffs in their first year of existence, otherwise season tickets for the inaugural year are free.
The announcement, came on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at the UltraLuxe theaters during the unveiling of the team roster and Dance team swimsuit calendar. This is the first time a professional expansion team, in any sport, has ever made a promise of this magnitude to their fans.
"I am very confident in the squad that we have. They are young, hungry, and most importantly hard working players who play for the love of the game," said Lilavois. "This type of promise has been made before, but never by an expansion team in their first season. I know that we are going to have success early and often and bring a championship to Anaheim."
The Anaheim Bolts first game will be their International tournament where they will play the U.S. National Indoor team along with the Mexican Indoor National team on Oct. 28-30 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
The Bolts regular season kicks off on Saturday, Nov. 12 against the defending PASL champion, San Diego Sockers at the Anaheim Convention Center.
