
Amerks Mascot to Make Public Appearances

Rochester, NY - The Rochester Americans' longtime mascot, the Moose, will once again be out in the community throughout the summer, making appearances at local charity events, schools, festivals and more.
The Moose, who made more than 60 public appearances during this past Amerks season in addition to all of the team's home games, will be out at several different Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop restaurants on Wednesday, June 5 to help support Tim Hortons Camp Day, an annual fundraiser that sends economically disadvantaged kids to camp. Fans can catch The Moose at one of the following Tim Hortons restaurants tomorrow: 720 Pittsford-Victor Road in Pittsford (7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m.); 908 Fairport Road in East Rochester (8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.); 447 West Commercial Street in East Rochester (9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.); 1250 University Avenue in Rochester (10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.); 1525 Lake Avenue in Rochester (11:30 a.m. to noon); and 2037 West Ridge Road in Greece (12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m.).
