(Rochester, July 23)... Rochester Americans and Knighthawks President Lewis Staats will be a guest on "Eyes on the Future" on Saturday, July 25th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on WHAM 1180-AM and wham1180.com. Staats will join Rochester Red Wings General Manager Dan Mason and host Mike Whittemore as they talk about the impact of sports on the economy of Rochester.

Staats enters his second season with the Amerks and Knighthawks and oversees the day-to-day operations of both teams. He is also the Vice President of Operations of Arrow Express Sports, a company focused on the professional sports sector. Further, Staats has an additional role as the President of the Six Nations Business Association. The Amerks will enter their 54th season in the American Hockey League in 2009-10 and are second oldest team in the league. The Knighthawks will begin their 16th season in the National Lacrosse League in 2010.

Joining Staats on the panel is Dan Mason, who is in his 15th season as the Red Wings General Manager. Mason has twice been named International League Executive of the Year. He is a Webster native, and a McQuaid and Notre Dame alum. The Rochester Red Wings are the oldest and longest running minor-league franchise in the history of professional sports. They have been around for more than 120 years.
