Americans' Auction To Benefit Family Of Missouri Maverick Jeff Christian

ALLEN, Texas - The Allen Americans announced today that a portion of the proceeds from their live jersey auction March 17 will benefit the Ryan Christian Fund.
During the St. Patrick's Day faceoff with the Missouri Mavericks, the Americans are donning specialty white and green jerseys in honor of the day. Immediately following the game, Allen will host a live jersey auction. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Ryan Christian Love Fund. Ryan is the daughter of Mavericks' forward Jeff Christian. Earlier this year, she was diagnosed with Pediatric Adrenalcortical Carcinoma, a rare disease that affects one in a million.
"It's tremendous that Allen is showing this kindness. It says a lot about Jeff that so many people want to help him out. It's a tribute to Jeff and his character," Missouri Mavericks President and General Manager Brent Thiessen said Thursday.
"We hope in some small way that we can help Jeff and his family battle this horrible illness. Jeff has given his life to the game of hockey, and it is great to see the hockey world rally around him," Americans Head Coach and General Manager Dwight Mullins said.

Tickets for Three Remaining Regular Season Games & Playoff Tickets On Sale Now Fans can purchase tickets for the remaining three regular season games March 17, 19 and 20. The Americans, the Dallas Stars' CHL affiliate, began play last fall in the newly built Allen Event Center in The Village at Allen. Season tickets, partial plans and group tickets are on sale now, and corporate partnerships are also available. Ticket plans start as low as $33 per seat.
