
American Hockey League Announces Suspension

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that Syracuse Crunch forward Gabriel Dumont has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of an illegal check to the head of an opponent in a game vs. Rochester on Jan. 26.
Dumont was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline). He will miss Syracuse's game Friday (Feb. 1) vs. Utica.
