Amarillo, TX 10/3/2012 The Amarillo Venom is hosting tryouts for the 2013 Venom Vixens. The Venom Vixens are the dance team for the Amarillo Venom; they dance at each of the Venom home games as well as make special appearances, and assist with in game promotions.
The tryouts will be held at the Amarillo Globe News Center 500 S. Buchanan on Saturday November 10th 2012. Registration is from 10:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. The auditions will begin immediately after at 10:30 a.m.
Eligibility requirements include Women 18 years or older by January 1st 2013. Girls wishing to try out should wear two-piece form fitting clothing with a midriff top, shorts and shoes with non-marking soles. The girls should also have performance ready hair and makeup. The Vixen try out fee is $25 cash (non refundable)
Candidates will be judged on dance ability, appearance, personality and attitude. All participants will be taught a routine and need not supply their own. All girls wishing to tryout need to bring a headshot and a full length photo.
After all auditions are completed a list of girls will be posted that will have the opportunity to move on into the 2013 Amarillo Venom Vixen Training Camp.
