Amarillo, TX7/5/12 : The Lone Star Football League has announced the Players of the Week for the June 30th game. The Amarillo Venom is proud to have two players on the LSFL "Players of the Week" list.
Venom's own Nate Davis was named Player of the Week with 27 of 48 passes and no interceptions for 411 yards passing. Davis also had 8 touchdowns during the Amarillo vs. Abilene game.
David Irizary was also named player of the week. Irizary had 7 tackles, 3 interceptions and 2 pass breakups during the Amarillo vs. Abilene game. Coach Julian Reese is very proud of Davis and Irizary and honored to have them representing Amarillo as the Players of the Week.
