
Albany's Terence Moore Named Defensive Player of the Year

LAS VEGAS - The Arena Football League has announced that Albany Empire linebacker Terence Moore has been named 2018 Defensive Player of the Year. Moore becomes the second player to win this award in his team's first season in the AFL (Gabe Nyenhuis, Tulsa).
Moore (6'2, 225, Troy) recorded 68.5 total tackles, 2.5 tackles for-a-loss, 1.5 sacks, 10 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and six interceptions during the Empire's regular season. The seven-year veteran led the League in interceptions and tied for second in total tackles.
