Albany Panthers to Hold Open Workout November 10th

ALBANY, GA - The 2012 Professional Indoor Football League Champion Albany Panthers have announced that the team will be holding an open tryout for all positions at the practice field behind Westside High School located at 2851 Heath Road in Macon, GA, on Saturday, November 10.

Tryout Date: Saturday, November 10, 2012Registration: 11:00 a.m. Testing Starts: 12:00 a.m. Registration Fee: $50.00 (Money due at registration, cash or money orders only)$40.00 in advance Money Order only. Mail information form andmoney order to:

This is your chance to impress the coaches and scouts to earn a spot on the 2013 roster. Open roster spots for the upcoming season are available. Two contracts were offered at the fall tryout last season.

Albany Panthers games have been broadcasted on the local ABC Network Affiliate. This exposure provides you with an opportunity to showcase your skills to both national and local television audiences.  Take this opportunity to compete for a chance to be a part of the team's second run to the 2013 PIFL Championship.

"I have said all along that in order for the Panthers to be successful, the team needs to have a solid representation from all areas. The State of Georgia is a gold mine when it comes to talented football players," said Albany Panthers General Manager Will Carter. "It is important to turn over every stone to try and find those hidden gems."

Players will be evaluated in the following:

- 40 yard dash

- 20 yard shuttle

- Broad jump

- Position drills

- One-on-ones
