Albany, NY The Arena Football League game between the Minnesota Myth and Albany Firebirds which was recently moved to Monday, May 13th at the MVP Arena has been canceled.
Firebirds' Team President Jeff Levack said "Due to circumstances beyond our control, we regrettably have been forced to cancel Monday night's game against Minnesota," Levack continued "The Myth can not make the trip, so we will refund everyone who purchased tickets to the game."
"We are aware of the concerns surrounding the AFL. We have chosen to avoid the rumors and drama and remain focused on what we've promised our fans and community all along, Winning football and a championship. Games will continue and we will need our fans more than ever! Keep an eye on our social media and Firebirdsafl.com for all updates," said Levack.
The Albany Firebirds are off to an undefeated 2-0 start to the AFL season.
