Albany Empire Add Veteran Offensive Lineman

ALBANY, NY- The Albany Empire announce that offensive lineman, Jordan Mudge, has been assigned to the team roster through free agency. Per League and team rules, terms are not disclosed. The free agency signing period for the Arena Football League began on Monday, March 4.
Jordan Mudge, Offensive Line
Another California native to join the Empire, Jordan Mudge began his collegiate career at Bakersfield College before transferring to the University of Nevada. During his time at Bakersfield, Mudge earned First Team All-America honors in his sophomore season before transferring. Following college, Mudge signed with the B.C. Lions of the CFL. The lineman broke into indoor football in 2013 playing in 13 games during his rookie season with the San Jose SaberCats. After spending the next two seasons with the SaberCats and the Portland Thunder, Mudge joined the Arizona Rattlers where he was named Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2016. Following his time in Arizona, Mudge was signed by the Buffalo Bills in the NFL. Most recently, Mudge was a member of the Washington Valor in 2018 and won ArenaBowl XXXI.
Deniko Carter, wide receiver, has been placed on Recallable Reassignment.
