All five American Indoor Football Leagues games this weekend have a bearing on the postseason playoff position.
The game with the most at stake is Saturday's match-up between the Johnstown Riverhawks (8-4) and the Huntington Heroes (7-5). The Heroes won the first meeting, 38-23, on March 17 but have lost three of their last four, Meanwhile, the Riverhawks have won five straight.
A Riverhawks victory eliminates the Heroes from the playoff picture.
The Chattahoochee Valley Vipers (7-5) can clinch the Southern Conference's final playoff berth with a victory over the Florence Phantoms. Daytona Beach (6-7) can get it only if it wins its last game at Rome June 10 and the Vipers lose out.
The Reading Express (10-2) can clinch home field advantage throughout the Northern Conference playoffs by defeating the Miami Valley Silverbacks.
In the south, the Rome Renegades (10-2) are maintaining home field advantage over the Richmond Bandits (10-2) thanks to the tiebreaker.
