AIFL Names Josephs Director Of Media Relations

The Atlantic Indoor Football League is proud to announce the addition of Joey Josephs as the league's Director of Media Relations. Josephs comes to the AIFL from the North American Football League, the country's largest semi-professional football league, where he spent 2 1/2 years in the same capacity.

"I know of Joey's work from my past association with the NAFL and it's great to have someone of his caliber joining our staff," League President Andrew Haines said.

Josephs has a varied background in the media, including spending seven of his 13 years in Memphis, TN in sports broadcasting and sportswriting.

While with the NAFL, Josephs was honored by two online minor league sports publications for his work. He was named Outstanding Class AAA Media Relations Director of the Year in 2002 by Minor League Football News and won a Ralphie Award by the publishers of MLN SportsZone in 2003 as Rookie Media Relations Director To Watch.

"I look forward to working with the entire AIFL family," Josephs said. "I was honored to have Andrew think of me for this position and I can't wait to get started in my new role. "
