
AHL Announces Suspension

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that Syracuse Crunch right wing Derek Dorsett has been suspended for one (1) game as a result of his actions during a playoff game vs. Toronto on Tuesday (May 6).
Dorsett was assessed an instigator penalty within the final five minutes of the third period, resulting in an automatic one-game suspension under AHL Rule 47.21.
Dorsett will miss Game 4 of the North Division Finals between Syracuse and Toronto, to be played tonight (May 7) in Syracuse.
