AFL Sets Another Attendance Record In 2007

NEW YORK - With the af2 postseason remaining (15 games), the current AFL and af2 cumulative attendance stands at 3,160,206, breaking the previous record of 3,006,993 set during the 2004 season. This is the second time that cumulative attendance for both AFL and af2 has surpassed the three-million mark.

The AFL finished the 2007 season with a record cumulative attendance of 2,022,890 (regular-season, postseason and ArenaBowl), including a sold-out crowd of 17,056 for ArenaBowl XXI. It was the first time in League history that the AFL surpassed the two-million mark in cumulative attendance.

The af2 regular-season attendance of 1,137,316 is the third-highest in its history, marking the fifth time in its seven-year history that attendance has reached the one-million milestone.
