AFL AWARDS WEEK 10 PLAYERS OF THE WEEK Raudabaugh sets record en route to a Soul win, Jackson preserves Storm victory with pass breakup
LAS VEGAS - The Arena Football League has announced that Philadelphia Soul quarterback Dan Raudabaugh and Tampa Bay Storm defensive back LaRoche Jackson have been named the offensive and defensive players of the week for Week 10 respectively.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Raudabaugh (6'3", 225, Miami-OH) threw for seven touchdowns in a 59-49 Philadelphia Soul victory over the Cleveland Gladiators in Week 10. Completing 20-of-27 passes (74.1%) for 303 yards, he became the youngest player in Arena Football League history to throw for 30,000 yards in his career.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Jackson (5'11", 205, Clark-GA) led all defenders with 7.0 tackles in the Tampa Bay Storm's 58-57 victory over the Washington Valor. Tallying a forced fumble and a fumble recovery, he knocked down a pass in what would have been the game-winning two-point conversion for Washington.
