Sacramento's U17 secured a 1-0 win with an early score in the 11th minute by Jackson Martin ending as the decider, kicking off the day with three points. The U16 squad netted three scores in a back-and-forth affair, after going down to ten men, Sacramento battled back to secure a victory. An 87th minute goal from Sebastian Ventura went down as the winner. Rylan Hashimoto netted a brace for the U15s in Saturday's final fixture to secure a perfect 3-0 afternoon.

Two regional derbies at the San Jose Earthquakes took place Sunday for the U13s and U14s. A tough day for the U14s ended with a 6-1 result favoring the hosts. A second-half push for the U13s made for a tight contest late, but the hosts would score in the 65th minute to put the match away. Despite the results, each squad sits in striking distance of the top spot of their division.

U15s, U16s, U17s Learn Draw for MLS NEXT Flex

On Wednesday, Republic FC's U15, U16, and U17 squads each learned their opponents for the upcoming MLS NEXT Flex tournament in Boyds, Maryland. A draw placed the club's teams in groups of four alongside other top clubs from around the country for the annual tournament.

The U17s draw includes two MLS-affiliated academies, CF Montreal and Minnesota United, in addition to Rocky Mountain club Real Colorado. Sacramento's U16s - who have just one defeat in league play all season - will match up with Indy Eleven, LA Surf, and Springfield SYC, and the U15s will take on their counterparts from Colorado Rapids, Southern Soccer Academy, and Players' Development Academy. Each team's match schedule will be determined at a later date.
