(Rochester, NY) -- The Rochester Lancers today announced recently named FIFA World Player of the Year, Abby Wambach, will make her first appearance in Rochester since receiving the award. She will be honored on the field prior to the Lancers game on February 24th at 4pm.
Wambach will serve as the Lancers Honorary Captain of the game and perform the ceremonial first kick. She will also speak to the crowd at halftime. An autograph session will be available to fans from 2:30 to 3:30pm that purchase a Lancers 3-pack for the remaining 3 home games for $75. There are only 100 available.
